Karl Lauber is a Rounder label recording artist now based in Greer and performing an enhanced acoustic solo (multiple instruments and vocals in real time) throughout the Upstate and southern NC.
His appearances include WSPA7, TNN, BBC, PBS, and 4 appearances on Garrison Kiellor's "A Prairie Home Companion" on NPR as a member of Joe Val and the New England Bluegrass Boys, with whom he also toured throughout the US, Canada, and Europe.
His eclectic repertoire includes James Taylor, Jimmy Buffett, Eagles, Beatles, Bluegrass, vintage Country, Americana, Blues, clawhammer banjo...even Sinatra when requested - whatever suits the crowd.
